Klépierre migrates to OneDrive

In order to develop a modern user experience to align with new uses, Klépierre was looking to free itself of the hassle and expense of running its on-premise infrastructures and offer its users an ‘always-on’ cloud experience.

In line with this vision, Klépierre asked Experteam to recommend and implement a secure data storage solution to optimise collaboration and resource storage capabilities, integrated with Microsoft 365 applications.

Thanks to their cutting-edge expertise in Microsoft solutions, Experteam’s consultants assisted Klépierre in migrating their Citrix databases and storage tools to a OneDrive library.

For this project, Klépierre asked Experteam to manage the migration to OneDrive of its 1,500 users in France and organise training and support to ensure easy adoption of the solution.

After a design phase including workshops run by our architects and project managers, the project consisted of 8 key stages:

• Checking prerequisites
• Assessing the impact of replacing Citrix in existing support processes
• Drawing up a roadmap and schedule for migration and user training
• Configuring KFM OneDrive
• Coordinating technical projects
• Drawing up a communication campaign to ensure easier end-user adoption
• Drafting technical documents for the first and second-level support services and coordinating trouble-shooting
• Making recommendations to guarantee security of the platform via access control management

Thanks to our end-to-end support, Klépierre was able to provide users with an easy-to-use platform giving them instant access to files from any device as well as offering them the full benefits of Microsoft applications’ sharing and coediting capabilities.
In addition, implementing OneDrive enabled the IT department to secure the company’s resources thanks to the security of Office 365.
